5 of the best ASMR positive affirmations videos for stress and anxiety
There can be many reasons as to why one might turn to ASMR when in need of a relaxing and comforting experience.
Perhaps you could be looking for a cozy experience so that you can be induced into some great sleep or maybe you're looking for a bit of stress relief from the day to day struggles.
Even if you're looking for slight relief from a panic attack or a bad case of anxiety, certain types of ASMR can be perfect for you.
And this is where ASMR positive affirmations come into play - one of my favorite triggers if I'm feeling extra lonely and depressed and in need of some 1 on 1 time...
Even if it is with some random stranger in front of a camera.
If you've never listened to this type of ASMR before, then you're in luck.
ASMR positive affirmations are one of the most comforting triggers out there and hopefully, in this list, you'll be able to find something that you can enjoy.
Whether you're saving it for later, when you're desperately in need of some personal attention ASMR, or you want to listen to it tonight so that you can get a 1 on 1 experience that you may have never had before.
1. ASMR Positive Affirmations - Ear to Ear
We'll start off with a simple positive affirmations video which I think anyone can find enjoyment in, and of course as with most of my articles on this site - its a video from Gibi ASMR.
In combination with the black and white background which she has used, which works perfectly with the type of ASMR that is being performed, this is certainly a video that is both easy on the eyes and the ears.
One of the cool things Gibi does in the intro of her videos is recommending services that could truly help with any issues you may be having, whether that's anxiety, depression or any other mental issues you may be experiencing.
Remember, ASMR is great for use when you are in need, but if you think you need serious professional help, then go elsewhere for it.
ASMR can not help you completely - it is simply an easy way to minimize the negatives for a short period of time - hence why people use it just before they sleep.
So they can get some quiet mental time, making sleep easier to bring on.
The general focus of this video, as with many other ASMR positive affirmations videos, is the creator whispering positive things into your ears.
Whether that's "You're Okay", "You're Safe", "You're In Control" etc.
All of these phrases are welcomed to my ears when I'm doubting myself due to a bad day.
2. ASMR Affirmations with Fluffy Microphone (Covers)
Another similar video to the one Gibi ASMR has created is a video from FrivolousFox ASMR, which uses the same concept of repeating positive phrases for your comfort.
What makes this video different minus the obvious change in background and the microphones used is the hand movements which Frivi has included in this video.
Since its a personal experience anyway, because of the 1 on 1 style through the use of ASMR affirmations, hand movements just work well in combination since they are the very personal triggers that I personally just love.
And I feel like people don't appreciate this type of ASMR trigger enough, you can really see just how awesome this type of personal attention ASMR is.
3. ASMR Affirmations - Softly Spoken
This isn't necessarily a positive affirmations video since it doesn't just include phrases that are overwhelmingly positive but it is more than certainly a comforting video that can really help with any anxiety or stress you feel.
Fallenshadow is talking to us in an unscripted way, reassuring us that everything is going to be okay, reminding us that we should check up on ourselves and also helping us to get relaxed.
A perfect video that I believe fits in with the other ASMR positive affirmations videos in this list but it's something a little different.
Perhaps it serves as a better video for those wanting more than just the same phrases repeated into their ears over and over again.
What also sets this apart from the other video is that it includes soft spoken ASMR as appose to whispering, which some of you may prefer.
I really wanted to include this video in the list because its one I have gone back to countless times since it was first uploaded, it has helped me massively with anxious or stressful periods I have been feeling over the last couple of months.
4. Plucking Away your troubles + ASMR Affirmations
A similar video to the last, which means that this next video from Gibi ASMR includes positive affirmations, but the entire idea behind the video is not slowly based on this alone.
Rather, the concept is that she is plucking away our anxieties which is done by a range of hand movements that feel very personal but are welcomed in a video like this - sort of like what Frivi did in her video linked in the 2nd spot on this list.
This is a bit more like a roleplay video, where Gibi is sort of pretending like she is actually removing something from you but I feel like this adds to the authenticity of the video and almost feels like she is actually helping you out.
Even if she is touching and brushing her camera lens.
And of course, throughout this video, you will hear many positive phrases and words that will certainly bring you out of a negative mood or at the very least make you 1% better than you were before you started watching.
5. ASMR Whispered Affirmations
More of a rambling style video, this next one includes a lot of talking along with a lot of positive affirmations.
So if you're looking for a more conversation-based video, that isn't focused completely on positive affirmation ASMR but still plays a heavy part, then this next video from Gracev is going to be just what you're looking for.
I feel like this video has a more entertaining factor since Grace is just talking about random events in her life.
This can be much more fun to watch than just a video all about positive affirmations (although these sorts of 'simple' videos are great too).
But as always, use these videos however you please, as long as they can help you in some way then my job here is done.
Final Thoughts
ASMR positive affirmations are welcomed words outside of the ASMR world, but sometimes we just can't get that sort of treatment from our friends and loved ones when we are in need of it the most.
This is why this type of ASMR trigger has become one of my favorites over the time I've spent watching ASMR as it really does help make me feel 100 times better.
I'd seriously recommend these videos to anyone struggling mentally due to things like stress, anxiety, and depression.
I have suffered all of these things and positive affirmations at the very least help me in a small but appreciated way.
As always.
Thanks for reading,
Sweet Dreams.
Sydney.
